| Was about to drive past but decided to pop in for a quick one. For a Sunday lunchtime it was surprisingly empty. The menu looked good and smelled appetising but as we were en-route we opted for a quick pint - Ringwood - very pleasant. Nice village pub in a lovely olde English village. Pleasant beer garden and we spotted two plates of previous diners - one cleaned up, the other with the food hardly touched. Intrigued to want to go back next time we are in the vicinity. | Six months on with the new team at the helm. I thought id give it a visit again. And once again i was not dissapointed. The 49r was superb! Well Done! As for the Food...Well what can i say? The Chef is a talented Young Man. His Homemade Lamb and Mint Pie served with Handcut Chips was spot on. | went here a few weeks back on recomendation from a freind. tucked away a bit, and not near were i live, but its a beautiful pub, with new people in charge, it seems to be going in the right direction.
