Basic but comfortable interior, friendly and relaxed staff, decent beer, and tasty pie. There was a problem with the food, but they spotted it before I did. Bit expensive, but maybe not for the location.

Average pub. Often very busy 5-7 ish but otherwise fine all round. Tills regularly fail which can cause amusement. Have heard food is very slow at lunchtimes - 40 minutes for a sandwich!

Fairly average central London boozer with a single bar and a couple of real ales - Adnams Bitter & Sharps Doom Bar. Addlestones was the cider. It was reasonably busy on our late Friday afternoon visit. But we still managed to grab a table. The computerised tills had failed, which seemed to be creating some confusion.

This is a great pub. I'd avoid between 5-7pm when it's quite busy, but after that it's a really nice place to have a drink. Some of the best traditional British pub lunches in Clerkenwell too. Great for late lunch and drink.

This is a great little pub hidden away just off Clerkenwell Road - the best in Clerkenwell are. Really good drinks, service, and atmosphere.
