A smart gastropub that is not really suited for the drinker. Purity UBU was the sole cask ale at £3.55 per pint.

We went with a group of 5 for Satuday lunch, and thoroughly enjoyed the Baraset. The interior decor is very modern and comfortable, and we were warmly and promptly welcomed. I could have stayed all week and eaten my way through the menu which was offerd a good choice of interesting dishes, including Chef's specials. Good wine selection too, and all at a reasonable price. If I were being picky I would say the Gents toilet was not terribly clean, but otherwise we enjoyed the whole experience.

Poncey food. Insane prices. Poncey wine bar look. Pretentious staff. Nouvelle cuisine (for those that don't know, this means tiny portions of mediocre food presented in a way thats more akin to a design on a plate to take your attention away from the fact that you're being ripped off with medium grade food cooked below par). This isn't a pub, it's just a restaurant that just happens to have a bar licence. Oh and if you want a drink you'll then be financially raped for a cab to get away from there.
