This pub is 100%, unequivocably fully contained within Colindale; it is not in Hendon at all.

A new pub called the Dovecote has opened just around the corner to this place. A Marstons house but had a couple of very interesting ales on that were very well kept. Friendly staff as well and the beer is not as expensive. Maybe it will encourage this place to pull it's socks up. Would not attempt to eat here after the last time; I have a microwave at home that I can cook equally badly with!

I can't agree with the other reviews. I've had several meals, all good, and the service was always polite and helpful. They even returned some change I forgot about when I changed an order. It didn't disappear into someone's pocket. No it's not cheap, but despite all the moans about "council estates" this pub is used by the people in the pricey, private flats around it. The estate has it's own pub and the reinforced glass/police CCTV to go with it. This isn't that place. This is good.

Le Corbusier's dream where people live, work and play in their own little boxes made of 'ticky-tacky' may have worked for lab rats but most people culdn't hack it. This development is having another go at Corbusier's plan for living complete with it's pub. A bar in the basement of a block of flats basically - though it does sell Youngs ale... didn't risk it though and went for a bottle of Chocolate Stout (at £3.75 a pop). If you're in the vicinity itis pretty much your only option.

Overpriced flashy pub with very limited ales. Youngs house. Sunday lunch of roast beef was over cooked, so typical of most chain pubs where food is reheated in expensive microwaves. . Completely different feel to the Greyhound which is also a Youngs house. Different products too! Uniterested staff. can't find anything to really commend it. However there are people who like chain pubs so it may have a following but be warned the price is way too high for service and produce!
