| A pleasant pub with a very attractive situation in lovely country. The bar is light and airy, with attractive pine tables, and a calm but friendly atmosphere. Good local beers - I drank Bird's Thunderbird. We didn't eat there, but the food looked good, though not particularly cheap. Well worth a visit. earlydrinker - 1 Oct 2011 18:05 |

| Pleasant enough country pub, looks like it's been recently refurbished in the 'farmhouse' style so lacks a bit of character. Excellent beer, tried the Wye Valley HPA, Shires Summer Classic and Birds Thunderbird and all were in fine condition and well priced.
