| Banks's Sunbeam and Wychwood's Hobgoblin Ruby were the 2 ales yesterday, both charged at £4.40 a pint. A Sunday lunchtime visit so, like us, most people were eating and the food was pretty good in this smarter than average pub. | Attracts what would once have been called yuppies. But to be fair the pub has a nice sociable up-market feel to it which deters the barely-legal-aged drinkers. Thinks of itself as a Worcester 'gastropub' and, in my opinion the food's not bad. Pricey for what you get but at least the quality's OK. The wine, however, IS pricey. Too damn pricey in my opinion.
