| Me and my family love this pub. It serves fresh, home cooked food and has a good selection of food and an amazing "specials" board. We have never had a bad meal here. The pub has a warm feel to it and is a hive of activity. It is NOT expensive and besides which the portions are on the generous side. The bar is well stocked, and even has 3 ciders on draught and 4 traditional ales. People who want fast food with no taste, for a cheap price won't be suited to this pub, this is family run, with friendly staff and a great menu. | The food was not good value for money - small portions, microwaved, uncooked duck priced at £12.95! Free sweet and drink offered, but no apology. Agreed to refund cost of duck when we asked beebee12 - 15 Apr 2011 17:49 |
