| this pub has a bad reputation, which i now see is mostly founded upon stories told by people who clearly havn't spent much time there, as the reputation is completely unfounded. as is average for any busy, popular pub on a friday and saturday night there are some fights(between very silly little boys mostly) and some people who come in do seem to be under the influence of drugs, HOWEVER this is not the landlords fault and it cannot be stopped, idiots will be idiots regardless of landlords or authorities. the pub is lively with fun patriots who simply want a good time, the beer was VERY good and the atmosphere was very welcoming. it has recently been taken over by yet another landlord because the previous one was forced out by authorities but the new landlord is just as good as the last and has in fact managed to improve the pub even further. mr.boozey - 15 Sep 2009 13:46 |
