| Ive just visited this pub that i found in the beer guide. I was a bit unsure due to the low mark its got on here. All i can say is theres no way this pub is a 4. It was busy when i visited, i was served straight away by friendly staff, the real ales were kept in good condition and the prices were reasonable considering the location. Most people were eating and the food looked good and again not overpriced. Its a bit dark on first entering until your eyes adjust but overall i thought this a good pub, with well kept ales at fair prices.
