| Just noticed Susie.P’s post. I now agree with her and the Crown and Sceptre is as popular as ever. I have started drinking there again and the Fullers beer is excellent once more. | I disagree builditboy. We have started using this pub on a regular basis and it serves excellent Fullers beer with a good selection. There is usually a good crowd in which speaks for itself. | Have been going to this pub fairly regularly over the last few years. Recently there's been a very noticable deterioration in the quality of the ales served. This seems to have coincided with the leaving of the aforesaid cellar person who had the "Master Cellarman" qualification. The beer that's being sold now at this pub is well below the standard I expect in a Fullers pub. At �3.50/�3.60 a go, the customer should receive a perfect fresh pint, not stale ale served with the sparkler on to disguise the appearance. BuilditBoy - 22 Aug 2012 17:04 |
