A great spot to watch fat parents shout at their fat kids. The mention of a tv screen in the smoking area in the comment below pretty much says it all... boozerbill - 31 Aug 2012 18:11
Beer was excellent and the staff were pretty friendly, Had a Karaoke on the Friday night and Lots of sport on the TV's plus there was an outside screen in the smioking area The food was really good for cost, quality and portion sizes Lots of families and a massive play area which kept the kids happy while we ate and drank Carpets look knackered and need replacing kevinb527 - 8 Nov 2011 14:54
Great child play area with a small charge but well worth it , don`t choose table 13 as its as wobbly as hell ! Otherwise beer fine and basic HH food . r33skyline - 16 Nov 2009 18:01
This is a GK Hungry Horse attached to a motel. Large bar and eating area well staffed. Only a 20 minute wait for food despite two coach parties in private dining rooms and a full bar area.GK IPA, Abbot and Speckled Hen on pumps. The 'Hen was fine as was the food. Plenty of families eating, its not your old fashioned pub but fits the bill for many people. It also has a large car park and is on one level throughout and so ideal for wheelchairs. bee578 - 29 Jun 2009 09:13
| Dined here on a Tues lunchtime and found it fine. Staff pleasant, place was clean but can see previous opinion of pushchairs and chavettes. Didn't try the beer as driving, Green King IPA and Speckled Hen on offer, stuck to coke, wise choice. Food was excellent in my opinion if you want lots of it at a decent price, if you want a letuce leaf covered in shite go somewhere else. 8/10 only losing 1 mark each for 1 allowing chavs in and 2 showing the rerun of Pompey losing to Manure on Sky.
