This pub is truly dire. I had the worst pint of Doom Bar I've ever tasted. Visited on a wet and dreary Wednesday afternoon. Not surprisingly the place was like the Mary Celeste. It just totally lacks any kind of atmosphere to even entice people in. I wont be visiting again.

Had my family visiting from Wales
Had a lovely time at Marwell Zoo.
Called in the Fox & Hound for Sunday lunch.
Looked child friendly with a bouncy castle in the garden.
That's all that was good about this pub.
I never done this before but I feel I should as it was
the worsted Sunday lunch ever.
Will not go back here.

Went to The Fox for the first time since it changed hands, it looked nice & when we went we found out it truely was. We had the festive menu, all the food was lovely, in my party we had a diabetic & someone with severe allergies, both of which they dealt with very easily. They were polite & very friendly. It was such a brilliant choice to eat & I would thoroughly recommend it to everyone. Even my Real Ale loving husband was happy with a pint of Tribute.

Well worth a visit.

My wife and i have been visiting lots of pubs in the area and are steadily working our way through the Hampshire Pub Guide. Being new to the area we have had heard mixed reviews of the Fox. I personally didn't enjoy our visit, as my food was overcooked and not very warm at all. My wife's salad was a lot better and she really enjoyed it. Beer was ok and the second pint was better than first. Friendly staff were helpful and bid us a very nice goodbye. May return for another go as don't feel they have reached full potential yet!!

Popped in for Lunch on Sunday, meal was ok and as per usual of pub food so can't complain. The beer unfortunately was not very nice at all, and had a distinct off taste to it. If the staff had been a little more attentive i would have changed it, but we just paid and left.
Will give another try in the future.
Was a very clean pub. TS
