| An excellent pub with a great landlord Ian and very friendly and helpful staff. Always a good selection of real ales are always available. Tasty meals served until mid-evening, particularly excellent value for Diamond Club card holders. Every two months the Heaton Moor Historical Society meet here for free local talks on Thursdays at 7 pm [see signs for details].
