| Been here a few times, the ploughmans was weird. Plenty of salad, but grated cheese!? What's that all about. We were sat inside on a really hot day. There wasn't any air con and it was boiling. It does have outdoor seating and a kids play area, but you couldn't sit outside to eat. OK place for families. | this is a new-build pub/restaurant, designed I think to attract custom from the adjacent new housing estate. [the area is ex-colliery and is being re-generated]. It is quite a large building with almost all the area designed for dining. There is a small bar area. Its quite plush and modern, and offers one or two cask ales. plenty of parking. personally I think the menu is a bit on the expensive side for a pub, and for the area. alright for a posh do but plenty of cheaper options in the area. reynard - 1 Jul 2008 17:55 |
