Friendly and popular pub.

Choice of beers is quite good.

Didn't try the food but friends inform me that it's excellent but expensive.

Worth a look if slightly off the beaten track.

Visited in the last half-hour on a gentle Sunday evening - a few regulars dotted inside and out and a quiet air all around. Decent range of guest beers alongside the Pedigree - well-kept beers from Wychwood, Brakspears and Jennings. Friendly welcome from the staff. Nice comfortable armchairs in the front window on which to while away the half-hour with a good book and the last vestiges of daylight nudging through the windows. Very pleasant.

Heaving on a Thursday night, though with drinkers rather than the assumed diners (it's quite small). At the eastern edge of a lovely village, worth a trip for decent Pedigree etc.

Passed this pub so many times but ventured forth this week. Pub quite small but very clean and cosy. There is another room designated to restaurant meals or as an optional area to eat bar meals. The staff are personable, polite and customer-friendly. Lunch-time bar meals were fairly good too although the head chef was on holiday. Nice fire. Will definitely repeat this visit.

Used to be a farm years ago now a pub/restaurant. The beer is Marston's and at least one guest beer, the beer is well kept and the service good. Good beer garden.

There is a restaurant but you can eat the same menu in the bar. The menu is not extensive but more interesting than standard bar meals. Prices a bit above average but the food is above average and the service quick.

Overall a smart country pub on the way up.
