| Not too bad, but the music's not to my tastes, and when it's busy, it's VERY busy, leading to slow service. An OK range of beers, though the closest you'll come to an ale is John Smith's. A bit pricey. Sticky bar. Levels of staff friendliness vary. A bit too "modern/edgy" in its styling for me. | One of Colchesters nicer, more refined bars, sans chav on most nights of the week with a smattering of 40+ Vicki Pollards who should know better on the weekends. Pricey but worth it. Food is of a good quality but the staff do seem a bit moody and have mucked up my order on more than one occassion; not very ha ha funny. They are fit though.
