| Excellent, friendly pub – visited early evening, Tuesday in December so very quiet – wife’s birthday meal, meeting daughter who’s based in Gloucester. Food quality and selection very good and reasonably priced – home bred pork sausages, venison, etc. Added bonus was that they have a wine shop on the premises so you can buy your (basically French, from smaller producers) wine there and just pay a £6 corkage.
