Interesting conversion of industrial premises, a mix of old and contemporary.
Full selection of Big Lamp beers and large food menu - although I hav'nt tried food yet. Situated in Tyne Riverside Country Park so ideal for families.

brilliant pub with good food and real local ales (you can't get much more local that over the road!) "Big Lamp" ales are the main ales served. Prince Bishop, Big Lamp Bitter, Sunny Daze, Summerhill Stout, to name a few.

the bar area is quite small, but the outdoor seating is massive and gets especially busy in the summer with the people coming in from the local country park and walkways.
Nothing beats a pint of "Sunny Daze" outside on a hot summers day.

big lamp brews all first class, would have been interesting if it had been raining as its a small bar but a must visit place for beer lovers.

Out of the way Brew Pub. The Big Lamp Brewery is next door. Clean & comfortable. Plenty of outdoor seating.
Serve, I presume, the full range range of Big Lamp Beers. The SummerDaze & Prince Bishop were very good. Decent pub lunch menu and sandwiches tried were very good.
Very busy on our visit. As a result took a while to get served at the bar - though not helped by the waitress service offered to people inside as they seemed to get priority over the people stood at the bar.
Was well worth the visit & will visit again.
