This is my spiritual home...what can be better than a a bottle of one of Marcos best and a bowl of pasta with butter and sage..doesnt matter ifthe bill allwyas comes to £45.00!..Its heaven..and I can smell Francos aftershave for a week after...lovely...please stay there forever...and may I drink all of those joke estate agents under the bar every night of the week! grumpster - 20 Aug 2005 12:29
A nice cosy place to go, with fabulous freshly cooked crisps in the bar in the evening, nice atmosphere and cute cubbyholes. The food is nice, if somewhat uninspired, a sandwhich is a sandwhich, but the Sauasage & Mash looked fab, not much space to eat in the bar if there are more than two of you Louise - 28 Sep 2004 14:30
The staff here are lovely. It used to be a local work haunt of mine and although the cheap wine is lethal if you fork out a bit extra they have a good range. Plus they always used to give us free peanuts and garlic bread.. Emily - 10 Feb 2004 13:33
Yes, I know its a Wine Bar and Restaurant, but the draught bitter isnt bad, and theres the usual bottles. A free supply of fresh home made crisps is on the bar. Lots of cosey little spaces to sit if you want more privacy. Can get busy with the suited after work crowd early on. Quiet on Saturdey, closed Sunday. Dennis - 11 Jul 2003 12:13
