| Oh dear, what a difference a year makes. We were the only people in the pub, albeit on a night of an England football match. 4 beers on, Cornish jack (had gone sour) Tribute, Cheddar potholer and Exmoor (Antler - also sour). 4 beers on and no customers = a lot of vinegar. | Excellent pub, Steve and Jackie made every effort to accomodate some steaming runners who descended out of the rain, despite skittles going on at the same time. 3 good real ales, Tribute, Cheddar and Black Prince, but was gutted to find Yeovil Ruby would be delivered after we left! . | It is really nice to discover a proper country pub with a warm welcoming atmosphere that does real home cooked pub grub. The landlord & lady are really friendly and take the time to talk to you.
