Dropped in on Saturday late afternoon, having visited occasionally over several years. This is a cracking little old fashioned boozer with lots of charm and a friendly atmosphere to boot. I had some lovely Courage Best and there were three other unusual or local ales on draught as well, although I didn't sample. Shame the fire wasn't lit, but I think it usually is at this time of year.

This pub has character in abundance. Thankfully you don't get the hoardes of rough lads that you can do in the Harrow on a Friday and Saturday evening.

Yes you'll struggle to get a seat due to it's small size but great bar staff, eccentric locals and a trouble-free atmosphere make this little boozer Cheam's best.

You'll never find an attractive young lady in here but stale ham rolls and smiles more than make up for that.

A good atmosphere, nice and warm when its blizzard like outside, some fine ales. Great little pub.
