Avoid! Graffiti in the Toilet, sullen Barmaid, mostly Lager available. Only one other punter there when I called and He was unbalanced. I drank my Lager quickly, had a "P" and left. AuldJimmy - 11 Apr 2011 20:56
seedy but ok--occasional totty--beer awful. mother123 - 13 Jan 2011 16:54
Ten of us visted evening of 11th August 2010. Traditional, but filthy, seedy premises. Those of us not drinking bottled products were unhappy with the quality of lager and cider - generally flat and lifeless. Female bartender's attitude very poor. Manager not available. Won't be returning. sphaltic - 13 Aug 2010 11:01
"however I can assure you that the locals are friendly and will make you feel welcome" Not universally the case; some of the crack heads can get quite lary. BCM1981 - 24 Feb 2010 09:12
Yes its a bit of mess, with cheap metal chairs as opposed to proper pub stools, a toilet that makes you heave, no bitter and only shit lagers but there is something about this place that I like. The karaoke is one of the best laughs in town... PeoplesPalace - 2 Aug 2009 18:15
