Not sure if this is now The Alma Brewery Tap (on the corner of Baron Street and Chapel market). the Alma brewery tap does One Mile End beers - if so had a decent pint of Docker's Delight here. They have tried to make it typical islingotn trendy but it still has a rough edge and a pub feel to it.

Why come here to play pool when you can do it the perfectly good British way in a normal pub. Loud and boring - a bottled lager throwback to 1997 when Dave Pearce ruled the airwaves and it was all about the Bedford Massive hanging out in Ayia Napa.

Where has the live music gone????There were some great rock nights here but they have all moved to other venues.

Fairly Hopeless. The kind of compromise place that pleases nobody you end up at if you're in a large indecisive group. The pool is pricey.

Apparently if you're less blind than me you can vaguely see into the ladies from the gents.

Ended up spending New Years Eve here (this was not my choice but was one of those let's try to please everyone type decisions). By the end of the night i wished I'd stayed at home. Terrible atmosphere, awful music (mainly R&B), full of chavs. Truly dismal. Next NYE I'm going to Fabric, or a party, or my local pub or staying at home watching Jonathan Ross. anything but go here again!
