| Traditional village inn, with a great view overlooking the Derwent Valley from the front. Friendly welcome, and three real ales on (well-kept, if my pint of Jennings Cumberland is anything to go by). If you look at the Ordnance Survey map, there are three railway stations within a mile or so, but it is a steep uphill walk from any of them (particularly Matlock Bath) - worth it, though. rpadam - 28 Feb 2009 17:32 |
