| A big barn of a Marston's pub. Situated just on the edge of town this large pub mainly caters for diners. The food looks lovely and is very reasonably priced. The ale selection was relatively small given the size of the premises/bar, 5 pumps with only 1 guest ale, which was £3.10 a pint. I would not return here to drink, but I would return here if I wanted to eat. It's big chain nature leaves it feeling a little soulless, but the value of the food is undeniable and it otherwise quite a nice if relatively generic looking pub. hatter90 - 18 Aug 2013 16:37 |
