Warm welcome, attentive staff, generous meals, discounts for seniors (take your Parents)...
This pub really has a personality, I would recommend a visit

Visited on a Saturday evening and found the pub fairly empty and dominated by TVs showing X Factor. If I wanted to watch the TV, I'd have stayed at home so this was a major drawback.
Pint of bitter was average and well priced.

In the name of quility control I popped in today. The Ansells mild was to die for. Was told today that this is now semi perminant. Excellant

The Cottage is an interesting place, Yes the inside looks dated but very clean and looked after, On my visit it had Wickwar 'Long John Silver', Skinners 'Cornish Knocker', Ansells 'Mild' and GK 'IPA' on draft. The were 6 differant single malts also. A good looking menu. I have eaten here and the food is good value. It also sells proper 'Pork Scratchings'.

Had a fantastic pint (or 2) of skinners cornish knocker. Beer well kept. Had a very nice sandwich and the rest of the menu looked go.
