Beer has always been good over the last few years. I do recommend the Sunday lunch

Traditional country pub on the road out of Binfield. Hammerpot Pale Ale, West Berkshire Good Old Boy, Binfield Best & Loddon Hoppit were the ales on offer, with Westons 1st Quality cider occupying a third handpull. Seating spreads around the bar and there is a large collection of tankards hanging from the ceiling, in addition to a display of some rather large keys on one wall. The best of 3 pubs we tried in Binfield. The only drawback is that it is closed during the afternoon, even on bank holidays.

A proper English pub, selling great beer, I had Binfield best which is brewed just for this pub, they also had 3 other beers on including Old Boy from West Berks.

In addition to great beer the do great food like the excellent, and very traditional, ploughmans I had. The menu also offers plenty of choice for vegetarians.

Lovely pub! Friendly landlord and staff serving a nice range of well-kept fine real ales. Nice seating area outside the pub too. It's so nice to go into a pub without a TV!
I'd love to have a place like this as my local, still, it's only a short taxi ride away.
