Bog standard station bar okay for a swift lager before catching your train. Snarling_Mallard - 8 Jan 2012 11:25
Station bar, but you might as well go to the Wetherspoons. A bit crowded especially considering people are going to have large amounts of luggage. rainlight - 24 Dec 2009 17:58
Underwhelming station buffet with appallingly bad beer. A choice of Davenports, mine was vinegar, or Stones on two out of the three handpumps plus Stella, Coors, Worthington, Carling etc on keg. Blandly decorated with mirrors, a big screen TV and a useful train announcer screen. Usual sort of furnishing and menu for this sort of place, staff rather abrupt and with an ever changing range of the travelling public as customers. There are much better places not far away. oldboots - 8 Aug 2009 10:02
Lovely pub, bit on the small side. Energetic and welcoming staff. Nicely quiet in the evenings. Spend a lot of time there week day evenings. emmmz - 24 Aug 2008 01:35
Nowt special, but far from the worst station pub around. Usually 2 real ales, last time I had Davenports (£2.16/pt). Not the quickest bar staff oftenscore6 - 14 May 2008 20:58
