| Went to the bloated Mallard for Sunday lunch . Found the bar staff friendly and helpful , and the Twickenham ales where excellent , Food menu was a disappointment as the Sunday menu was not available . So the choices were a bit limited. In saying that, the lamb shank that most of us tried was pretty good . The only down side was, it was a warm day ,and the staff couldn't seem to open any of the windows to let some air in . | The mallard is easily my favourite pub in teddington great staff really friendly, great food and local beers on tap make this place a must if your in the area. The function room upstairs is amazing and firmed the perfect back drop to our wedding reception. | Unimpressed with this place after visiting on Sun. The Sun lunch menu comprised of 3 main courses (their sample menu online had at least 10!) and out of the two we went for, both were very mediocre. The staff were also uninterested in our views of the food. Would def not recommend for food and as the place was fairly empty I assume everyone else has already discovered this. | Beautiful design, very relaxed with a fabulous atmosphere. I love the decor, very friend owner, only people of an artist natural would enjoy what the owner is trying to achieve, and he most certainly got it right, well done. neds4u - 20 Feb 2011 20:28 |
