| The pub looks to have been nicely refurbished and has a good menu. The high prices dont however seem to reflect the quality of the food or the service based on our recent visit. Even though there were only 4 groups in the restaurant our food took over an hour to arrive and one of the other groups in the restaurant sent all there food back and finally left without eating anything. Complaints to the Manager were met with disdain. Its a shame because it looks like it could be a nice place, but the management and staff don't seem to have a clue. davidstal - 21 Jul 2008 22:05 |
| This lively village pub has lost some of its charm through refurbishment and extension, but it's great to see such places doing well. Plenty of people in for the jazz duo and Sunday lunch. Nice pint of Harveys too. rpadam - 26 Apr 2008 16:42 |
