| Decent community pub that has some money spent on it recently and which looks reasonably smart. Both Spitfire and Masterbrew were on, and the latter was on top form. Didn't care for the dog much (although I am not clear whether it was a customer's or belonged to the pub), but the covered outdoor area at the front was a good spot to watch the world go by on a sunny afternoon. rpadam - 14 May 2009 22:09 |

| called into this pub recently on a saturday evening and had a good night listening to a live band,although it was busy i had no problem in getting served,the "spitfire" was excellent and the staff freindly,great evening,keep it up. littlebob - 15 Sep 2008 21:23 |
