| have started using this site after hearing about it in the cricks.i find myself wanting to do my own reviews to. cricks gone down hill since new landlord so a few of us have found other pubs for a regular beer. can honestly say i really enjoyed myself over the wkend great for early doors. keep up the good work! nice to see you don't take ur reviews personal ! wkd2 - 24 May 2010 20:36 |

| this is the worst run pub for many a mile,cheap ale attracts cheap thugs.If the brewery have any sence they should close this once thriving pub down.the lion is in a great location unfortunately it is now keping good folk out of town through fear of violence,pikeys and rag n bone men meet in here from all over cheshire wich sez it all anonymous - 25 Jun 2009 17:34 |
| Want to get your head kick in, make you way to The Lion. Beer maybe the cheapest in town but rather pay a bit more to keep my teeth intact. Also if you do use the toilets, I suggest a trip to Leighton straight afterwards for a tectnus jab! SandbachG - 12 Jun 2009 12:43 |
