|Friendly pub, landlady very informitive, A bit out of the way but well worth the hunt. has charity functions and live music the pub has a guest ale that change's quite often, and the bar snack's food.is very reasonable.|

|The Taste of England is a freehouse, set on a farm, just outside of Thatcham. The atmosphere is friendly, and informal. A home from home. Regularly have live music on a friday. Carvery on Sundays. And food served throughout the week. Also a good venue for private parties.|
