| Interesting old pub - a bit "beams and horse brasses" but not over the top, with several distinct drinking areas and a restaurant. Excellent Robinson's beer and good food - with a choice of four vegetarian dishes and a "local and seasonal" menu. | We thought this pub was a gem. Very Olde World but in a charming way. Hand pulled Robinsons beers as good as any you'll get outside of Stockport. A great pub to sit, read the paper and take in the atmosphere. Friendly staff and locals. Chad - 11 Jan 2010 20:04 |
