user reviews of the Blue Bell, Yarm

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Immensely slow service on busy nights. Good in summer to sit outside next to the river. Menu is good pub food and they got a pool table too. As for beer - stella recently added to selection, not bad.

This pub is where I'd want people who don't know Yarm to go. It's cosy and the staff are pleasant. There is live sport and a pool table, great food and a lovely view from the back patio.

Paid a visit on Saturday, and was very pleasantly surprised by the Directors - probably the best pint of it I've had. Great view over the river and bridges - top stuff. :o)

My prawns were watery and tasteless. Also though advertised as "food all day" when trying to order we were told to come back in half an hour. Next time we wont come back at all!!!

John Barras chain pub with greta view over the river on the outside patio area. Good beer, except the directors which tastes of dish water. usually packed earlier on before people go onto the bull/union/george
