Great on a summers day/night. Can be a wait at the bar from thurs thru sunday but you can beat this place or yarm in general for its balance between atmosphere and truble-freeness. Ive never seen a fight here or in the rest of yarm. top pub. also shows footy, which the bull doesnt, to my knowledge.

Good laugh on Boro match days, gets a bit rammed at weekends as its one of the only pubs that any out of town visitors have heard of before a visit to Yarm. Very good jukebox though! Nice beer garden for the summer months and now open til 12am through the week (i think).

Iv'e used this pub for over forty years, it's been knocked about a bit over time, better as a two roomer.
The ale is still well kept and the food is very good, if limited, very pleasant service. I have yet to sample weekend evenings or sunny day's.
One of the two best pubs in the area.

This pub attracts too many under age drinkers, who look as if they've been dressed in the dark! However, for live football it is undoubtably theplace to be!
