Nice pub but the ale was a disappointment on our last visit. So was the attitude of the barman. founddrunkinyourgarden - 5 Aug 2011 11:35
They claim to be the only pub in Liverpool to use oversize pint glasses. Well done The Belvedere. happytyskie - 3 Jul 2011 17:15
Called in here for a swift half. Beer was fine, I'd go back even if it were just to try a "Scouse Pie" LickeyEndBooze - 6 Mar 2011 19:18
Reasonable enough mid street pub on the everges of the trendy part of town. Quaffed a nice enough pint of Copper Dragon Golden here. A few too many Camra cronies in for my liking though. Snarling_Mallard - 4 Dec 2010 00:46
Came in here on Friday 1st October for the cider festival. Only other people in here was the barmaid and a man with a dog. A list on the wall featured about 8 ciders. I asked for one only for the barmaid to tell me they only had 2 ciders on. I went for the Gwent Ddraig (I think that's what it was) and then had to help the barmaid to pour it because she didn't know what she was doing. The cider was okay but the lack of atmosphere and lack of any sort of festival was a minus. In fact, the last time I came here was for the cider festival last year and it was the same lack of effort that put me off ever coming here again. (see my review from 14 Oct 2009). I went up the road to the Everyman Bistro where the cider festival was also taking place. Well, it was supposed to be taking place but you'll have to read my review of that establishment to find out what went on - or what didn't go on! mattbeer - 3 Oct 2010 11:04
