An enjoyable pub to visit and it does still sell Fullers beers. Keen on Sport here, especially Cricket, Rugby Pool and Darts. Certainly worth a visit if in the area. aleman - 28 Feb 2009 17:08
Have Fullers sold this pub? I drove past the other day and all the Fullers branding seems to have disappeared. GrahamA - 24 Sep 2008 13:18
As recently reported in the Knaphillian, "Due to a lack of foresight by The Anchor's new owners, the pub has recently instructed it's management team to pull the plug on their Saturday night slot for live music. This is a major blow for the village that has come at a time when they could have benefited greatly from being one of Knaphill's best venues for such entertainment." A great shame, another live music venue lost. everylittlehelps - 14 Sep 2008 13:30
Visted the pub on Monday, not been in for some while. Found the pub had a new management team and was a much friendlier atmosphere than my last visit. To a very welcome surprise the specials did not include paninis!! Had Home made burger and Amercian style pancakes for desert. Good looking new menu people I was with als impressed. Would reccomend this pub to anyone, definatly moving in the right direction.. Live music tonight so heading there to check it out. amylouise - 22 Sep 2007 18:26
I popped into The Anchor last Friday because it had live music and was very pleasantly surprised - many music pubs are not so welcoming. Had a great pint of Fullers' London Pride and saw an excellent local band, Six Miles Away - not too loud either. Wide range of ages too so I didn't feel out of place either. everylittlehelps - 30 Apr 2007 17:39
