Nice bright interior and was served promptly. The girl behind the bar was happy enough to take a picture of me with my camera outside the pub so can't fault the friendliness of the staff. No problems here. Nice pub. Doesn't appear to open until 4pm though which is strange. BLACKTHORN.BRISTOL - 2 Sep 2012 14:17
Lovely location and good selction of beers, especially pleased to see Budvar Dark on draught. SGA - 28 May 2012 15:58
Superb pub full of atmosphere, great selection of drinks across the board and a cracking menu to boot. Was there on Saturday for a few drinks and a portion of calamari and was, as ever, sad to leave. One not to miss! DaveProcter - 30 Apr 2012 15:51
Awesome pub! Great drinks selection, top ales, beautiful view, fit bar maids and a sound gaffa! eldavies - 17 Aug 2011 11:34
Cracking pub, for quite a few reasons. At the basic level, the drinks are good, whether it's local real ales or a properly poured Guinness and they usually have a couple of good quality lagers, too. Very decent selection of malt whiskies, to top it off. The staff are welcoming and enjoy a bit of banter, while the clientele is a relaxed mix of old 'uns, young 'uns, families and most things in between. The menu features plenty of fresh, local seafood and the views from the big balcony are, as many others have pointed out, simply killer. I repeat - cracking pub. GuinnessGaz - 17 Aug 2011 10:02
