If not up to the standard of the Rising Sun or the Red Squirrel Brewery Shop, this was probably the third best pub visited on our 12 pub crawl of Berko. It rounded the evening off nicely with a full range of Tring beers and there was space to spread out. Worth a visit.

The Tring beers were top notch last month after our walk from said town to Berk. I don't see the point in marking a pub down to keep the 'rubbish' out, they can't read anyway so won't give a damn about beer ratings will they?
Nice pub.

Sky sports? I think not. That would be the cokehead paradise down the street. A traditional pub and unquestionably the best in town despite its huge dip in form following the retirement to Spain of the great governors a few years back. It's seen a bit of refurb since then but not too drastic.

This is a pub for quiet reflection, a chat, a great pint and real characters. Glad it's got such a shit rating (I'm afraid I will score it low therefore too!) as it keeps out the gobshites.

Don't bring any small dogs in here. You have been warned.

A really good pint of Tring's Ridgeway; somebody here evidently knows how to keep beer. It's a pity similar standards are not applied to the customer service training for bar staff. Our lunchtime visit today was soured by a rude and disinterested barmaid whose attitude calls into question the 2010 GBG's assertion that this is 'a welcoming and friendly local,......'

Disappointed to find that there were no ales from the Tring Brewery ,but it looked like the next barrel wasnt quite ready.Had the ubiquitous London Pride instead.Good pub to watch Sky sports coverage,a real town centre boozer and friendly enough for strangers to the area.
