| Sir Audley Arms , a little bit out of the way, but OK , big uglyish building, quite a neighbourhod feel to the place, good for sports watching with big screens, decent bar, and prompt if not particularly friendly service. Its not decorated in a way that you might remember its very standard pub decor, but OK. Big parking spaces, and bar food thats not cordon bleu but reasonably OK for a standard menu. Its not anywhere you would aspire to go, but its Ok for catching the football or rugby in a decemt sports environment , quiz nights are loud and funny. Toliets at least gents kept clean (always a good indicator of the genral standard of hygiene particularly in places that serve food. Things to improve bar staff friendliness, although thats sadly not unusual these days anywhere, some more interesting range of drinks, and some better decor, but not sure its clientele would be that bothered either way. jonnyboy012 - 7 Jan 2010 15:57 |
