| We visited here as it was the closest pub to our campsite and found it to be a very acceptable place. Friendly staff, lovely beer garden, friendly dogs and well kept Deuchars IPA and Mansfield Cask (Pedigree also on). | This is a very well-run village pub with well-kept beers and two well-behaved dogs. I have always been made to feel very welcome and at home on my (infrequent) visits. Food is good and the garden is very pleasant in the summer. I agree with ddstyles that the place could do with a refit and looks tired, but this is not a show-stopper in my opinion. 8/10 as this is a pub I could drink in all day and would happily recommend.
