| It's changed hands (very shortly after Wharflad's posting, I think). New landlord+lady very welcoming. The snooty "£15 and extra charged for your veg" food went out with the previous people... now instead there is very high quality pub food in the £6 to £10 range for complete main courses. But no way does the food ever "squeeze out" the drinker here... it is very much a drinkers' pub well supported by the villagers plus the folk who make a worthwhile journey from Harlow or Stortford.
