Went in on early sunday afternoon with a friend. No Ruddles for Sunday club but guest pint was fine. No stuffing balls with roast chicken - I was told politely that they had run out. They also had a 25 minute wait for food when the pub was half empty. All that said the food was nice when it arrived but the lack of availability of food and drink and a long wait rates a five.

This has to be one of the worst Wetherspoons I've been in, with an extremely poor beer selection. As usual, plenty of 'available soon' labels, but very little 'available now'. The usual Greene King Abbot and Ruddles Best were supplemented by just one guest - Dorset Yachtsman. No real cider was available, apart from the usual Wetherspoons bottled cider range. However the pub is situated in a lively area and doesn't aspire to the typical Wetherspoons layout, with its flowery wallpaper, its exotic lampshades and its mock Chinatown gate at one end. The clientele is equally varied. Probably not a pub I would come back to.

Typical wetherspoons really. I popped in around lunchtime last week, full of pensioners ordering coffee (Wish they would go to coffee shops!!!) place was clean, staff friendly beer ok.

This used to be O'Neills and used to great for a night out. But I've been here about ten times over the last year or two, and it's ALWAYS been empty.

Saying that, you still get exactly what you'd expect from a Wetherspoons.

First visit last weekend. Huge pub with great and efficient staff and one of the few Wetherspoons that does decent food. Mixed crowd and can get a bit rowdy but the manager and staff cope well and are great. Shame others in the chain (Eastbourne/Brighton and Hastings) don't have the same quality.
