| i think this pub is brilliant, it has so muh energy and enthusiasm, constantly trying new exciting events to go to. just what a country pub needs. The real ale is superb, as is the choice of single malts and spirits. the food is good! great atmosphere, log fire, board games and proper old pub feel. Really enjoyable sociable times, with pleasant hosts and staff, that constantly try hard to make this pub what it is fantastic!!!! top marks aducky - 27 Jan 2011 21:10 |
| Good pub. Has enough quirks about it to be worthy of mention - sweets in jars for sale behind the bar, teeny weeny dining area (plus one big room round the back, nice open fire, friendly landlord... The food is normally very good but a touch overpriced for the area, I'm sure if the prices were lowered this pub could really make a name for itself in South Norfolk. Went in for Sunday lunch once and the carvery was very disappointing - not a patch on the weekday menu. Otherwise I like this place lots and lots.
