| A nice conversion of the old Bar Ha Ha that stood on this site, I do rather like the inside. It's a lot less frenetic and shouty than before. More relaxed and with an emphasis on food if that’s your thing and would be a good place to take the lady for a bit of sophistication. However the beer (2 handpulls of Pride and Caledonian IPA) is often rancid or not even on - and when it is they insist on serving the Pride through a sparkler so clearly not much knowledge of what they're serving. If they got a grip on that I'd be willing to give it a good mark, but not at the moment. I’ll stick with Perry’s Caribbean restaurant on High Street for my nutrition! Quinno - 18 Feb 2008 14:06 |
