Decent ye olde worlde pub with a couple beers straight from the barrel - Doombar was one and they were both well kept. Pub must be popular as the marquee for the overspill was fully occupied. Had the 11 pork dish and it was excellent - at least they had lots of veg. Never knew about this pub until the invite - well worth another visit.

i have been to this pub a few times. its a lovely pub. but when i went there once i saw what looked like the publican yelling, almost abusing the young australian girl who was behind the bar. i thought it was disgusting. he pretty much fired her on the spot in front of the customers who were in there. i have never gone back after that. he seemed to be a grumpy old man.
