| Being a fan of the more traditional pub I shouldn’t have really liked this gastro type pub, but I did. The barmaid was very nice and a gentleman allowed me to be served before him as I was only ordering 1 drink (I honestly can’t remember the time that happened). There was an extensive selection of lagers accompanying the Wells Eagle, Regatta and Bombadier. I liked the layout with the bar area at the front and then a dining area leading onto a beer garden. | A large pub on the main road. Would appear to have been redecorated in the resent past, with plent of space to move, and a long bar. Serves food, more towards the Gastro-end. Prices possibly a little on teh higher side. Several tables in teh beer garden at the rear. Magellan - 28 Jan 2008 16:51 |
