Seems this pub is turning into a Poker Pub with 2 tournaments weekly now and the tournaments take place in the restaurant meaning in excess of 6 tables are taken out of service for people wanting a bite to eat in nfavour of a few people that could play basically anywhere else (particularly the "games area").
The food is generally good but when you have someone standing over you while you are eating, hurrying you up so they can set up the Poker game, i have to say it's slightly off putting.
When will the owners of this establishment refurbish it so it benefits the local community and families as a whole??

A couple of enjoyable visits here lately, especially a friday night when there was an abundance of eye candy. Good atmosphere, good food and more ales, don't know if they change them regularly but there were three selections.
Best pub in the locality.

I booked a table with the head chef at the tudor the day before easter sunday and to my delight she squeezed us in for dinner at about 4pm on sunday i was delighted to hear they have just had disabled toilets fitted in and disabled accsess into the pub so i could bring my grandmother quite easily into the pub now. I had a lovely time it was really busy but we were well looked after by the waiter he was lovely to us he kept suggesting what nice desserts they had that day and we had to try the treacle pudding with hot custard it was sqrumsious we are regulars at the pub now because it is so welcolming we dont live in watford we live in northwood but i will travel to the tudor arms because its more than i expect everytime i go in there. They will go an extra mile to please us everytime.
