| As ever another excellent beer festival held in early November with beers from local breweries including Mithril, Yorkshire Dales and Just a Minute as well as new ones to me from further afield such as Lymestone. All beers sampled were in excellent condition and served from the main bar and the extended bar which is in the lounge area. No draught mint sauce this time but Rita's homemade mushy peas were good. | Another visit for another beer festival and this one was superb. More handpulls set up and we enjoyed beers from Abbeydale, Breconshire, Dent, Keltek, Yard of Ale and Yorkshire Dales breweries in a good session. Reasonable priced food on offer too. gillhalfpint - 9 Mar 2010 12:19 |

| An excellent family run club with at least four real ales on tap, plus beer, cider and lager. On the 16th to 19th of April there will be a beer festival on with at least 20 beers plus ciders, they are also putting on hot food so if you want a good pint and a meal why not get down there it really is first class, and have a game of snooker as well. postiebob - 11 Apr 2009 16:39 |
